Mark Ginsburg is a founding member and the managing partner of the firm.  Mark has over 25 years of experience representing owners, builders, developers and investors in all matters of real estate law, including the acquisition, sale and financing of vacant land, apartment buildings, office buildings, shopping centers and other types of commercial property.  Mark has closed hundreds of millions of dollars worth of loans, including acquisition loans, construction loans, bridge loans, CMBS loans and permanent loans, and has assisted many owners and developers in workouts and restructures of troubled loans.  Mark was formerly the Deputy Town Attorney for the Town of Yorktown where he served as counsel to both the Planning Board and the Zoning Board of Appeals and he continues to practice in the areas of land use and zoning, representing owners and developers in all phases of development and construction.  Having drafted over 50 condominium, cooperative and homeowners association offering plans, a significant part of Mark’s practice is dedicated to condominium, cooperative and homeowner’s association law, where, among other things, he represents developers in the preparation and filing of offering plans, developers and tenants in the conversion of buildings to condominium and cooperative ownership and advises the governing boards of these associations on the many construction and operational issues they continually confront.  Mark’s practice also includes the representation of landlords and tenants in the preparation, review and negotiation of lease transactions such as those involving ground leases, office buildings, medical space, commercial condominiums, Section 8 housing and shopping centers and represents landlords and tenant in both non-litigated and litigated disputes.
